Getting Around
Accessibility
Lisbon's steep roads and elevated neighborhoods, like Chiado, mean that most walks from the apartment will involve an uphill return. While rideshare services are readily available throughout the city, we recommend bringing walking shoes with grippy soles, as the cobblestone streets can be slippery, especially when it rains. Please note that the apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the building and there is no elevator, so guests will need to climb three flights of stairs to access the apartment.
Transportation
The apartment is conveniently located just a 20-30 minute drive from Lisbon Airport. We can arrange transfers if needed, or you can use the Bolt ridesharing app, which is more commonly used in Lisbon than Uber. Alternatively, the Metro is an option, taking approximately 40 minutes. The main train station, Cais do Sodré, with connections to Cascais, Belém, and major museums along the Tagus River, is just a 10-minute walk away. The Rossio train station, offering direct links to Sintra, is only a 5-minute walk. Additionally, three metro stations—Baixa-Chiado, Rossio, and Restauradores—serving the blue and green lines, are just a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
